How to proceed:
  • Read the query first, then practice writing one (or two or three or more). Follow the template in the tutorial that shows you what to put where and why.
  • Then move on to the synopsis. Again, use the tutorial to discover how to structure yours in five, effective paragraphs. This will help you prove to the agent that you know how to write a story from beginning to middle to end.
  • And finally, locate and revise "red-flags" out of your submission materials before you begin your agent quest.
